Units, areas and rooms

A unit is an optional subdivision such as an apartment or commercial unit. An area is a place such as a room, kitchen, bathroom, basement, garden, roof or facade. An area can belong directly to the property or to a unit.

Open a property, choose Property units, then Add property unit. Store its name, number, floor, area, ownership share and notes. Use Edit property unit for changes.

Under Areas, choose Add area and set name, area type, optional unit, floor, size, materials, wall color and notes.

Meters, assets, tasks, repairs, documents and expenses can refer to a unit or area. Before deleting a unit, Propivio lists detected dependencies. Removing the unit assignment does not automatically delete the whole property or every related record.
