Meters and meter readings

Open a property, choose Meters, then Add meter. Store name, type, number, measurement unit, provider, contract, installation or replacement date and optional unit or area.

To add a value, open the meter and choose Add meter reading. Enter date, exact decimal value and reading reason, then add a note or photo if needed. In Reading history, a reading can be corrected or deleted.

Propivio stores meter values as exact decimals. Check the unit and date before correcting history. The sharing preview is generated locally and contains only the property, meter, number, date, value, reason and note options that you select. The destination app receives the data only after you choose it.

Readings can also link to an occupancy for handover, check-in or check-out.

With at least two readings, the meter overview shows Difference between the latest and preceding value. For a cumulative meter this helps you check consumption over that interval. Check dates, units, estimates and meter replacements before interpreting the difference; it is not a bill or an automatic tariff calculation.
