Complete backup, restore, and reset

Create a complete checked backup, validate restore data in staging, understand the unencrypted-file warning, and reset safely.

A complete backup contains the relational database and app-owned attachments with checksums. Restore validates the package in staging before active data is replaced.

Quick steps

1. Open Data and privacy and choose Create complete backup, then select a protected file location.
2. To restore, choose a Kitrivio backup, review the validated file count and date, and confirm replacement.
3. Use Reset application data only when you intend to remove local product data and app-owned files from this device.

Backups are not encrypted: Protect the selected backup file and storage location. Kitrivio does not claim backup encryption without an approved recovery and key policy.
