Security Insights SRL is responsible for Kitrivio and the optional diagnostics sent by the app. Your inventory records remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Records on your device
Kitrivio works offline without an account or cloud synchronization. Inventory records and app-owned attachments are stored locally. Optional analytics and crash reports are disabled by default.
Camera, photos, and files
Kitrivio uses the camera, photo picker, and file picker when you start a scan or add an attachment. You choose whether to use these actions and can manage operating-system permissions in your device settings.
Barcode scanning on Android
Kitrivio uses Google ML Kit to recognize barcodes on your device. Camera images and recognized contents stay on the device. The SDK sends technical device and app information, installation identifiers, usage, error and performance information to Google for diagnostics and improvement of the service. This is separate from optional Firebase diagnostics and is not controlled by the Firebase diagnostics switch. ML Kit infrastructure can initialize when the Android app starts, before you open the scanner.
Google Play subscriptions
Google Play processes Android subscription payments. Kitrivio reads products and purchase status and acknowledges completed purchases. Purchase tokens are used temporarily in memory; Kitrivio does not store them in its database, backups or diagnostics and does not send them to its own server. A local record temporarily retains the entitlement status. After reinstalling or changing devices, purchases are checked with the same Google account; inventory transfers through your complete backup. Apple and Google purchases are separate.
Optional Firebase diagnostics
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics remain disabled until you explicitly enable anonymous diagnostics in the app settings. If you consent, technical usage and crash information may be sent to Google services. Inventory records, attachments, and free text are deliberately excluded.
This notice describes the conditions for diagnostics. It does not display or read the current settings of your app.
When enabled, Firebase diagnostics can include installation identifiers, device and app information, app interactions, crash and performance data, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. Kitrivio does not enable advertising identifiers or personalized advertising. It does not deliberately attach local inventory contents or purchase tokens to diagnostics.
Reports, exports, and backups
You decide when to export or share a report or backup and which destination receives it. A complete backup contains the database and app-owned documents with checksums. It is checked before replacing active data.
Kitrivio backups are not encrypted. Protect the storage location and any copies you share.
Your choice and withdrawal
Kitrivio remains usable without optional Firebase diagnostics. Turning this consent off stops future Firebase collection and deletes unsent crash reports from the device. It does not turn off ML Kit processing or delete data already transmitted to Google. Retention of transmitted data follows the provider's rules. Backups are unencrypted; exported files are handled by the destination you choose. Contact us about your data-protection rights.
